Collage using cuttings from handmade pulp painted paper, salvaged from earlier work, on a base of Khadi paper.
A combination of surf culture and Greco-Roman floor mosaics, this collage repurposes cutings and handmade pulp-painted paper, on an alizarin-stained sheet of handmade Khadi paper from India, with imagery based on the Greek bronze “Victorious Youth” recto and verso and “stamen-forward” botanicals.
