Cassandra 

The lines of the poem, Cassandra, are printed letterpress across a fourteen panel accordion fold book, 10” x 10” x 1.50” containing manipulated digital images from the collage series, Veiled/Unveiled  by Mary Heebner. Each spread is then individually embellished with collage and pigment. The book lays in a handcrafted powder coated metal box that is laser etched with an image.

Included is a hand stitched booklet of handmade linen paper with the poem by Stephen Kessler, a description of the mythological character of Cassandra, a quotation and the colophon, printed in letterpress. Also included, a frameable, signed print of Veiled Woman, on rag paper.

The edition is limited to 25 copies, signed by the artist and the poet.   $4000.00
